BORN SCUM FAQ

How long will my order take?

Orders are processed immediately upon submission and cannot be changed, canceled, or modified.
You can log into your account at any time to check your order status.
Please double-check all details before submitting—we do not edit names, addresses, items, or sizes after purchase.


Why do I see double charges on my account?

Your bank may display a pre-authorization hold alongside the final charge. This hold will automatically drop off in a few days.
If your order failed to complete due to an error, you may still see a temporary hold—it will also clear automatically.


Do you accept money orders?

No. Orders must be placed directly through www.bornscum.com.
Any mailed-in money orders will be refused and returned to the sender.


Do you offer exchanges?

We do not offer refunds. Store credit is issued for approved exchanges.
Please review our Exchange Policy below.


EXCHANGE POLICY

  • Exchanges Only – No refunds. Store credit is provided upon approval.

  • Giveaway Entries – All entries are final and cannot be revoked.

  • Clothing Exchanges – Must be unworn, unwashed, and free of stains, odors, or hair.
    Items must be returned within 30 days with a packing slip or order number.
    Items not meeting these conditions will be sent back.

  • Motorcycle Parts – Final sale. No returns or refunds.

  • Shipping Costs – Non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping.

  • Free Promotional Items – Considered final sale and non-returnable.

CUSTOM SEAT ORDERS

  • All seats are custom-built and final sale.

  • Lead times vary seasonally.

  • No updates are provided once the order is placed.

  • Tracking is emailed once your seat has shipped.


WHERE IS MY ORDER?

  • Once your order ships, tracking will be sent to your email.

  • Tracking updates may take time—your package is still in transit unless marked otherwise.

  • For any tracking issues, contact your local USPS office directly.


LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

Born Scum is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages.
If your shipment is missing, please file a claim directly with USPS:

  • Online: USPS Missing Mail Claim

  • Phone: 1-800-275-8777

  • In-Person: Visit your local USPS office with your tracking number

We cannot file claims on your behalf.


RETURNED TO SENDER?

If your order is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, you will receive store credit to place a new order.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship worldwide.
Customs, duties, and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
Once your order leaves the U.S., your local postal service will handle final delivery.
